Some call her luck…
I call it blessed harmony in divine nature.
A ladybird flew in to my life and on to my arm the other day while I was visiting with a friend. Most would think, “Should I go and buy a lottery ticket? What good luck is going to happen to me? Am I going to meet that certain someone?”.
I simply felt blessed. Blessed that this beautiful little creature, recently out of her winter hibernation has decided to land on me and breathe with me. Was it the roses tattooed on my arm that fooled her in to landing on me? Was it the calmness of my energy as I sat and caught up with a dear friend while we watched the blue jays and orioles come and go in and out of the apple tree that stood before us?
Call it luck if you will. I call it harmony. I call it synchronicity of two natural beings coexisting together. My point; enjoy the little creatures around you. Allow yourself to slow down every now and again, so something so small and so precious can land on you and experience with you. If you must call it luck, then I was lucky to share some time with little miss ladybird.
